People First of Henry County had their first walk-a-thon August 1, 2009 to raise money to offer special socials throughout the year for families with special needs children and adults. The funds raised allow families to participate and be active in free social opportunities that they would otherwise not be a part of. Organized by Ricky Craig, 100% of funds earned went to People First for this purpose.
Our Kings and Queens also came out September 5, 2009 to support Speedway Charities and their walk-a-thon. Speedway Charities and the whole AMS Family are incredibly supportive of People First and we are so very grateful!
